Our aim is to present to wine lovers some of the more unique and excentric wines produced in this wonderful country of ours South Africa. We will go out of our way to source wines from producers that display unique characteristics not only from a location perspective but also from ‘doing things differently’ to the norm.
Our travels have brought us to the unique McGregor town in the amazingly agricultury rich Robertson Valley where some of the best wines in the country is produced. This area is a little ‘off the beaten track’ and has a serene and tranquil air about it which unfortunately (or some would say ‘fortunately’) does not form part of the itenerary of the ‘typical tourist’…
Ira Wines will attempt to expose these unique areas to fellow wine lovers and to experience the special quality of its wines. The wines can be ordered on-line and a door to door delivery service is offered for your convenience. This service is mainly offered to areas in the Gauteng Province but national and international deliveries will be done by special arrangement.
